I asked Spirit to show me the way.
I was guided to the Moon, and as I told you in the last email, I started working with her.
Moon Magic … Does It Really Make a Difference?
Honestly, in the beginning I wasn’t sure myself, but I did know one thing:
I was tired of pushing, forcing and controlling and I wanted more ease, grace and flow!
I decided to give it a try. (Hint: You need to give it at least 3 full cycles to notice a big difference)
I can tell you that aligning with the phases of the moon is powerful for:

- Soul growth

Significance of the Full Moon
The Full Moon is a time to go inward, it will light up the subconscious and bring forward insights about your emotions, soul lessons and soul path.
It is also a time to reconnect with your desires, appreciate the ones that have manifested and nourish the ones that are still getting ready to bloom.
While the New Moon is a time for new beginnings and planting seeds, the Full Moon is time of reflection, completeness and celebration. With the Full Moon, feminine energy is at its strongest, so it’s also an incredible moment for creativity and bold intuitive insights. At the Full Moon, the womb of creation is ripe and full of limitless potential.
This particular Full Moon is called a Strawberry Moon. According to Native American folklore, the short season for harvesting strawberries comes during this summer month and that gives it its name.
Additionally, there will be a partial lunar eclipse, which is a heightened Full Moon that will bring change and breakthroughs. It is said that a full lunar eclipse has 10 times the potential of a Full Moon.

Full Moon Ritual to Realign and Focus Your Intentions
- Prepare Your Space
– Ideally you will do this at your altar. If you don’t have one yet, choose some place
that feels grounding and comforting.
– Dust things off, remove what is no longer needed.
– Get your sage ready, your journal and pen and your four elements (see below).
- Take a Ritual Moon Bath
– Water is a wonderful way to work with lunar energy. It is the symbol of the feminine,
it washes away the old as well as toxins (physical, emotional, mental and spiritual).
Add epsom salts and essential oils to your bath ritual and let yourself relax and get
ready for releasing and renewing with the full energy of the moon.
– You can also moon bathe fully clothed. Take in the pure white light and allow it to
cleanse your body, mind and spirit.
- Cleanse Your Space and Yourself
– Use sage to clear any energies in the room and then to clear your auric field.
- Create Sacred Space with the 4 Elements
Bring in the 4 Elements:
– Water in the South
– Fire in the West (you can use a candle)
– Earth in the East (you can use any crystal, I love moonstone for this, as it is
the “Goddess Stone.” It is cleansing, uplifting and vibrates divine feminine
wisdom.
– Air in the North (incense or a feather)
- Invite in the Divine
– Call in the 4 Directions, your guides, angels, your Higher Self, whatever feels best
in the moment.
- Reflect
Reflect on what happened the last two weeks:
– What obstacles did you encounter?
– If you set new moon intentions take a look at the opportunities that showed up for
growth and expansion.
– Also look at what came to fruition and what desires still need nourishing, love,
appreciation and gratitude.
- Release
– Journal about what has been on your mind that you want to let go of, so you can
reach a place of emptiness.
- Write your desires and/or bring your vision board
– Write down your desires.
– Set your intention for this next cycle and its impact on your bigger vision.
– Remember that what you focus on becomes magnified, this is living your life by
design!
- Express Gratitude
– Show gratitude both for what has already manifested and for intentions that are not
yet apparent in the physical world. Gratitude is the currency of the Universe, the
more you connect with it, the more you expand your capacity to receive.
- Ask for Divine Guidance
– Look at your desires and intentions or your vision board images and ask for Divine
guidance from Grandmother Moon. This is my most favorite part of the ritual, as I
start to feel a deep connection not just with the Moon, but with the Universe and
Great Spirit.
You can use questions like:
– What message do I need to hear about my intentions and desires?
– What do I need to know about the next step on my path?
– How can I be the Protector of my love relationship?
– What do I need to do to be the Warrioress of Light for my Vision?
– You can also use oracle cards to receive Divine guidance on those questions and
next steps.
- Celebrate
– Celebrate what has come to fruition since you planted the seeds of creation.
You can simply dance to your favorite music and elevate your energy of gratitude
and success so that you rise in your vibration.
– Remember that the moon will amplify whatever energy you put out, so express
yourself fully to activate soul growth and manifesting power.
